Prayer in School

Hello Everyone my name is Loretta and my blog is on "Why did they take prayer out of school?"
I don't understand why that our students are not aloud to say prayer before starting their classes, together as a school. Why does it have to be only when they are at lunch or on break? I feel that saying a prayer before class would not hurt anybody. I also think that you can take it to far. If you disrupt the class to pray just because, I can the problem there. I thought the we lived in a "FREE" country. I don't think that everyone should have to pay the price for something that someone else doesn't want to do. If you do not want to have prayer, close your ear. I think that we should say a short prayer every morning and before every meal, because we are blessed everyday that we open our eyes and roll out of bed.
